The Gammill Statler Stitcher is a high quality proven
long-arm quilting machine with a stitch regulator. A stitch regulator
function provides even stitches without stitch load (build up) in areas
of hesitation...such as the points in stars or corners of designs. This
function can be disabled, allowing the quilter to do other types of
stitching...such as micro-stippling.
Long-arm Quilting Machines perform on large tables,
typically 10 to 14 feet long. These tables are specially designed to
stabilize and maneuver quilts from the smallest wall hanging to large
King and Queen size quilts. Louisa's table is 12 feet long.
The quilt tops are secured to canvas leaders, the lining
is secured to another leader, and the batting is 'sandwiched' in
between. This is why Louisa does not want you to baste your quilt
first! Please read more about preparing your
quilt prior to shipping your quit to Quilting by Louisa. |
